The year is 2012.  Whether you are awaiting Planet X, the End Times, a New World Order, or the Age of Aquarius, we all know a major change is coming.  According to Hollywood, the coming apocalypse will be terrifying, but the Greek meaning of apocalypse is more fitting to what faces us today: a revelation.  We must not accept the box in which our governments, corporations, and banks are trying so desperately to shove us.  Fear is used as a weapon of mass control to make us helpless and ignorant of our collective power, but of all the uncertainties in this world and beyond, we are not one.  The divine is within and without us all- choose love, and humans are capable of anything.  Change will not be easy.  There must be destruction before we can rebuild.  But, really, the only thing worse than fighting and failing is doing nothing at all.

A revelation is all it takes.  Those less spiritually inclined may say it is actually a choice.  However you look at it, it’s time for us to grow the f*** up, take responsibility for our part in shaping the world around us, create instead of consume.  We are not truly free until we do.  And that’s what this blog is all about: freedom!  In the immortal words of The Doors, the time to hesitate is through.

My own decision to stop acting like a brainwashed American has been long in coming.  I encourage anyone who reads this to join me in bettering themselves and our world.  Seek truth.  And I’m new at this whole blogging thing (and slightly technologically challenged), so please be kind!
